As of Monday, April 4, 2022 South Shore Family Practice will be adjusting our masking policy. As of that date masking will be optional for staff and patients. If you feel comfortable masking, we fully encourage you to wear your mask while in our office. If you feel uncomfortable with being in close proximity to our staff during your visits, please feel free to ask that we mask around you and we will be happy to put out mask on. Masking may be required for staff in, but not limited to the following situations:
If a patient is being seen for or has any symptoms present or consistent with:
Respiratory illness/cold/flu, an individual that is accompanying a patient being seen for respiratory illness/cold/flu, individuals that have had recent exposure to anyone with respiratory/illness/cold/flu and individuals that have had COVID-19 exposure.
Symptoms include, but are not limited to:
- Body Aches
